From time to time we solicit grant requests but if you have a current project that you think would get us excited, please send us an email!
Applications should be unique projects that include the elements below.You're welcome to email us a subset of the below if you want us to review and let you know if it's worth submitting a full application package.
A complete application will consist of the following:
- Project proposal video Produce a concise (2 1/2 minutes) pitch video introducing yourself and your project. This is an opportunity to convey your enthusiasm and commitment. High production values are not required; a simple recording using a smartphone is acceptable. For additional guidance on creating your video, click here.
- Project Synopsis and Outline - Provide a Longline (brief statement), Synopsis ((maximum 200 words), and one page project description.
- Key Team Members - Present key team members involved in your project, outlining their roles, relevant experience, and specific contributions. This information is essential in demonstrating your team's qualifications and capabilities.
- Budget in Excel or Google Sheets (with edit access enabled), detailing the project's total cost. Break down expenses clearly, specifying costs for elements requiring funding. Including budget options that demonstrate both minimum and maximum scenarios is encouraged but not mandatory.
- Identification of Other Funding Sources - Disclose all additional funding sources supporting your project. Indicate the status of these funds (e.g. received, committed, pending, hopeful) along with amounts, names, and supporting documentation as appropriate.
- Timeline and stage of development - Include a detailed and realistic timeline for the implementation or production phase. Highlight significant stages, interim deadlines, and projected completion dates.
- Outline of Stage PaymentsDescribe the proposed structure for disbursing grant payments across the project timeline. Allocate funding in accordance with key milestones and deliverables identified within your plan
- Link to past work samples optional - under 2 minutes).
- CV/Resume of primary team members with relevant experience and training.
